More than 50 years experience.

Established in 1957 by Lee Ruth the Ruth Group manufactures

in Australia an extensive range of veterinary products, animal

feed supplements, biologicals and algaecides.

The Ruth family has been operating under the distinctive RCI

logo since 1961 when it amalgamated with Tone All Supplies Pty

Ltd and created the Good eggs marketing campaign which

initially positioned it in the then rapidly expanding poultry industry

in Australia.

Rural Chemical Industries (Aust.) Pty. Ltd. is the holding company of Ruth Consolidated Industries Pty. Ltd., both wholly owned family companies which operate separately in overseas and local markets.Rural Chemical Industries (Aust) Pty Ltd markets the products of Ruth Consolidated Industries Pty Ltd outside Australia.

Brett Ruth is the Managing Director of both Companies. He has

been associated with the industry since 1982 and has gained

considerable field experience in the specific market segments

serviced by the Companies.

RCI brings science to the farm.

RCI research has developed many veterinary products for the

intensive livestock, performance animal, cattle, horse, racing

camel and goat industries. After winning an Australian

Government sponsored research grant RCI developed a

unique algaecide which has application in a wide range of

industries including , but not limited to, potable water

supplies, farm dams, irrigation channels, hydroponics,

rice growing, mining operations,power stations, nurseries

and gardens, golf courses,livestock drinking troughs, sewage

treatment works.

RCI logo has become familiar

on a range of products helping to improve the livestock industries

in Australia and in many countries to which RCI exports its

products.

Hostile climate research.

RCI pioneered a world wide niche market by specialising

in and creating veterinary products for animals raised in

hostile climates. These specialised products are designed

to reduce the detrimental effects, and consequent

economic loss, on the physiology of chickens and other

intensively raised animals, caused by hostile environmental

temperatures and relative humidities.

RCI veterinary products are all designed to improve

production and increase profitability of the farm unit.

Being service oriented the group adopted the slogan

“we bring science to your farm” To illustrate

our commitment to help farmers RCI was the first company

in Australia to introduce least cost feed formulation

to farmers mixing their own feed.

This unique analogue feed formulation computer took hours to set up.

This service introduced in the 1970’s was made possible

by purchasing a specialised feed formulation computer

which completely occupied a 12 foot square room.

Today more powerful feed formulation programmes

are now readily available for use on lap top computers.

Recognising the need for continuing research the group

has also initiated some unique studies into animal

production problems which frequently lead to the development

of new products.

The group has a network of well established

and reputable Agents (many being associated

with the Company for 30 years or more) in all major

Asian and Gulf Country markets. Its products are

registered for sale in all major Asian and most GCC

markets. The Company also owns well known and

established trade marks which are protected in markets

where its products are sold.

The ownership and management of the Companies is

vested in three brothers, Brett, Craig and Evan Ruth,

all graduates of Australian Universities and the sons

of the founder of the Group.

of AUD$1 million dollars. Its combined assets exceed

AUD$1 million dollars and it has achieved multi

million dollar sales outside of Australia. It is one of

the largest exporters of veterinary products in Australia.
